Cheers Alistair, it's good to know that it compared well against other BarCamps. Especially as the organisers hadn't been to all that many between us!

I've added you to the twitter list too.

As a BarCamp veteran I tryly say that it was a great BarCamp. Well done to all who made it happen. I hope to blog something about the event soon. If anyone did not get my contact details then find me at http://www.agm.me.uk/contact , or twitter.com/alistair .

i cannot thank everyone enough: those intro'd to me and not; those w/whom i spoke and those w/whom smiles were exchanged, those i might've passed on the stairs or wherever else on premises as well as those whose presentations i attended; can't thank y'all enough for your warmth, friendliness and mostly the feeling of inclusiveness i personally experienced. and the real me (SG=Selfish Grrl) is extremely grateful for all i learnt.

in other news, i had BIG issues attending when Chris first told me; so pleased i bit the bullet (yup, that's how bad/paranoid i was). this goes back to tech events in NYC and basically being ignored the second after most learnt i wasn't in teh biz.

big thanks to EVERYONE. and though he'll probably not see this, same to setmajer (Chris) for virtually twisting my arm to come along, and to Frankie for the list above (and to everyone who didn't eat their pizza, i was the one minesweeping slices off plates at abandoned tables -- shameful but true).

2 more things: a) i'm like kicking myself in the metaphorical butt for not presenting s.thing about which i'm very passionate but chickened out, so for that and other reasons, i do hope there's a next time and b) 5 quid was a bargain -- AFAIC, the experience was worth much more.

right, there were rubber duckies? i'd train it over from Bristol if told where i can secure two, one for me and one for setmajer.
