BarCamps are bottom-up affairs; although there’s a team of us planning BathCamp, we don’t claim to have magic fairy dust that makes the event happen.
How can I help?
- If you haven’t signed up for BathCamp yet, get on board.
- If you or the company for which you work would like to sponsor BathCamp, send us an email.
- If you’re already signed up, add yourself to the list of attendees on BarCamp.org and Upcoming.
- If you’ve got a blog, blog about BathCamp. If you have friends, tell them about it. Twitter it, Pownce it, Facebook it; generally don’t shut up about BathCamp :)
- If you’d like to be interviewed in the quick. five-questions way, leave a comment here or send us an email. People attend for different reasons, and yours may strike a chord with someone else.

One question: The upcoming page has 8am – 8am as start/finish times, it’s not *really* starting that early is it?

@Darren: the plan was to start at 8am on the Saturday; if that’s going to be a problem for people (like yourself) travelling a distance, then maybe we can push the start time back a bit.

Originally we chose 8am because we wanted people to have a bit of a weekend left after the event. Most of the feedback we’re getting suggests that people would rather start and finish later, so we’ll try and sort this. I’m going to the venue tomorrow (5th Aug) and will ask them for an extension on the Sunday finish time. If this is cool with them I can see us starting later on the Saturday. We’ll keep you posted…
